This Privacy Policy explains how Set Power Free United DAO LLC, known as the Green DAO ("Stand With Green," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, shares and protects personal information when you visit standwithgreen.org, use the Stand With Green fundraising wizard on it, or use the Green checkout at checkout.standwithgreen.org and the other checkout pages we run for Green (together, the "Site" and the "Services").

Please read it. By using the Services you accept this Policy. If you do not agree with it, please do not use the Services.

This Policy does not cover third-party websites or services we link to, such as Connect United, PowerPay (app.powerpay.green), Stripe, or Green governance pages. Their own privacy policies apply.

1. Who we are

Stand With Green is an initiative of Set Power Free United DAO LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company known as the Green DAO. The Green DAO is governed by Green node operators under the Green Blockchain Node Network Charter (Green governance). For this Policy, the Green DAO is the "controller" of the personal information described here (the organization that decides how and why it is used). Connect United is a separate company and the controller of the information it receives to process your order.

2. Information we collect

When you use the fundraising wizard

• Your choices: the products and quantities you select, and which offer you are looking at.
• Sign-up details: if you sign up, your first name, last name, email address and country, the avatar you pick, and whether you ticked the box to receive Stand With Green news. With these we keep a record of your consent: the version of the wording you agreed to and when.

When you use the checkout

• Account details: your first name, last name, email address, mobile number, country and postal code. These are used to find or create your Connect United member account.
• Your signed agreement: the purchase agreement text you were shown and its version, your signature (as an image), and the date and time, IP address and browser you signed with. We keep this as the record of what you agreed to.
• Your order: the products, quantities and prices, the coin and network you chose, the payment address and amount Connect United issued, and the order's status.
• Card payments: if you pay by card, Stripe handles your card and any identity checks. We do not receive or store your card number. We receive the status of the payment from Stripe.

Information collected automatically

• Server and log data: IP address, browser type, device and operating system, pages visited, referring page, and the date and time of your visit. Our website platform (HighLevel) and our hosting provider (Cloudflare) collect this on our behalf. Our servers also use your IP address briefly to limit repeated requests and abuse.
• Referral and campaign codes: if you arrive from a link that carries a referral or campaign code (shown in the web address as r, p, sid, items or flow), we record it with your sign-up and your order, so we know which link brought you and which sponsor referred you.
• Cookies and similar storage: see Section 6.

Messages

If you email us or contact support, we keep your name, email and what you wrote so we can reply.

3. How we use information

We use personal information to:

• show you products and complete the purchase you asked for, together with Connect United;
• keep a record of the agreement you signed;
• credit the right sponsor for a referral. If you already have a Connect United account, the credit goes to your account's own sponsor, whatever link you arrived on;
• send you emails about your order;
• send Stand With Green news only if you opted in, and stop when you unsubscribe;
• understand which links and campaigns bring people to Stand With Green;
• answer your questions and provide support;
• operate, secure and improve the Site and Services, and detect, prevent and report fraud, abuse or security problems;
• meet legal obligations and enforce our terms.

Legal bases (for people in the UK, EU and EEA): we process information with your consent (news emails), to perform a contract with you (your purchase), to meet legal obligations (including keeping records of agreements), and for our legitimate interests in running and securing the Services, where those interests do not override your rights.

4. How we share information

We do not sell personal information, and we have not sold it in the past 12 months. We share it only:

• With Connect United, the seller of record, to find or create your member account, place your order, issue the payment address, confirm payment, and credit the sponsor who referred you.
• With service providers who work for us: HighLevel (website, customer records and email), Cloudflare (hosting, storage and security) and, for card payments, Stripe. They may use your information only to provide their service to us. Stripe also handles card payments under its own privacy policy.
• Within the Green ecosystem: with affiliated Green brands and the Green DAO's governance bodies where needed to operate the Services, as permitted by law.
• For legal reasons: to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, protect rights, safety and security, or enforce our terms.
• In a business change: if the Green DAO's assets are transferred, personal information may transfer with them under this Policy.

Payments in crypto are sent on a public blockchain. The payment address, amount and transaction are visible to anyone, as on any blockchain; they are not linked to your name on the blockchain itself.

5. International transfers

We are based in the United States, and our providers may process information in the United States and other countries. If you are in the UK, EU or EEA, we rely on the European Commission's and UK's adequacy decisions (including the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and its UK extension where a provider is certified), standard contractual clauses, or your consent. Contact us for details of the safeguard used.

6. Cookies and similar storage

• Website platform: standwithgreen.org runs on HighLevel, which sets essential cookies and browser storage to run the site and recognize a returning visitor. A banner tells you about them when you first visit.
• The wizard and the checkout set no cookies of their own and use no advertising or retargeting pixels.
• Live figures and libraries: to show live figures and run the page, your browser contacts our providers (such as Connect United's data service and Cloudflare's library service), which receive your IP address.
• Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track: we honor Global Privacy Control signals as an opt-out of sale or sharing where the law requires. We do not currently respond to Do Not Track.

7. Marketing emails

You will get emails about your order because you placed it. You will get Stand With Green news only if you ticked the news box. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can also unsubscribe by emailing [email protected]. Unsubscribing from news does not stop emails you need about an order. Connect United may also email you about your account and orders under its own policy.

8. How long we keep information

We keep the record of an agreement you signed, and of your order, for as long as needed to provide the purchase, resolve disputes and meet legal and tax obligations. We keep sign-up details until you ask us to delete them or we no longer need them; we keep a record that you unsubscribed so we never email you news again by mistake. We keep log data for up to 24 months. When we no longer need information, we delete it or make it anonymous.

9. Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls and monitoring. Card numbers are handled by Stripe, never by us, and the payment address for every crypto order is issued by Connect United. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.

10. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to: know what information we hold about you; get a copy; correct it; delete it; object to or restrict processing; move it to another provider; opt out of sale, sharing or targeted advertising (we do none of these); and withdraw consent. Exercising a right will never cost you anything or result in different service. Some records, such as a signed agreement for a completed purchase, may need to be kept for legal reasons even if you ask us to delete them; we will tell you if so.

To make a request, email [email protected]. We will verify your identity and respond within the time the law allows (one month in the UK and EU, 45 days in most U.S. states, extendable once with notice). If we refuse a request, we will tell you why and how to appeal. UK and EU residents may also complain to their data protection authority. U.S. state residents (including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon, Rhode Island, Tennessee, Texas, Utah and Virginia): the rights above apply to you under your state's privacy law. California residents may also ask about disclosures to third parties for their direct marketing; we make none.

11. Children

The Services are not for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us information, email [email protected] and we will delete it.

12. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy. We will post the new version here with a new "Last updated" date, and for material changes we will notify you by email or a notice on the Site before they take effect.
